CHAPTER 53 - Chapter 53
“Thank goodness Tia isn’t a vampire, otherwise how could she have eyes for that guy?”
“You’ve said that to me at least ten times.” Klaus Paine caressed Phyllis’ waist while his crimson eyes glanced at Su Yuchen. “Not too shy, is he?”
“What good is that? Can it satisfy Tia?” Phyllis sneered. “And besides, aren’t you eager to give Tia the First Embrace? If you help me tonight, I might consider gifting her to you afterward.”
“Miss Phyllis’s proposal is quite good.” Klaus smiled. “Leave it to me.”
“Don’t kill anyone.”
“Relax, this city is so much fun. I have no plans to leave… Getting them drunk will do, right?”
“Hmm~” Phyllis shook off his gradually ascending hand. “After it’s done, I’ll give you a reward. I’m off to play with my Tia~”
…
“I didn’t expect they invited you.”
Cole Raphael, who had previously asked about Su Yuchen’s relationship with Tia, looked at him sitting across the table. “Are you sure you’re not close to Tia?”
Heh, this hypocritical guy, who had lied to me saying he wasn’t close to Tia, yet tonight she’s intimately holding his arm. Isn’t that being close?
“We became close later,” Su Yuchen said lightly, his body slightly tense.
Without Tia nearby, he had to be cautious of any potential ‘misfortunes’ that might arise at any moment.
“Oh, I see.” Cole smiled noncommittally. We didn’t see you two interact much during military training. How could you become close later? It’s obvious you knew each other for a long time. Otherwise, why would you be invited to this party?
Wasn’t it all for Senior Tia’s sake?
“Cheers~”
“Hehehe~ Your face is turning red just after a bit of blood.”
“Quick, finish this piece of raw steak; it’s still bleeding.”
“Awesome, applause, hahaha!”
The noisy voices filled the banquet hall, making Su Yuchen even more certain that this wasn’t just a party but a gathering for a meal.
A formal dinner in evening gowns… it was a bit discordant.
“Hey, junior brother~”
A tap on the shoulder made Su Yuchen turn around. Five older sisters, each with distinct features, held wine glasses and smiled at him. “Come, have a drink with us?”
Cole widened his eyes, looking at the five big sisters in low-cut evening gowns. Hey, why are they approaching this guy and not me?
Su Yuchen looked at the somewhat ominous expressions of the five elder sisters who seemed eager to get him drunk and took the glass offered to him.
It wasn’t red wine; it was vodka.
Bottoms up.
“Wow, Junior Brother can really hold his liquor! Well done!”
“Don’t forget mine; it’s different from hers.”
“And this one too, finished again! Junior Brother, your capacity is impressive!”
Drinking five consecutive glasses of different but similarly high-proof vodka, Su Yuchen’s face turned slightly red, and his stomach felt a fiery sensation…but no dizziness!
“Ladies, he’s really good at drinking! Super impressive.”
“Come on, don’t just sit there; come over here and have a good drink with us.”
‘They’re trying to get me drunk.’
Su Yuchen silently thought, let’s see who would be the first to pass out.
“Junior brother, have a drink!”
Looking at the senior sister in front of him, Su Yuchen’s face immediately turned red… because she was human, a woman!
“S-senior, hello.”
“Why stuttering? Are you getting drunk?”
“N-no, I can still drink!” Su Yuchen exclaimed loudly… very much fitting the behavior of a virgin, unable to resist the ‘attack’ of a human beauty.
“What an impressive junior, come, sit here with me.”
“Cheers, drink up, junior~”
“Eat some food before drinking.”
A group of variously striking elder sisters overwhelmed Su Yuchen, the conversation getting more and more outrageous, with flirtations both verbal and physical, making him drink more and more.
“Tia, seems like he’s quite popular,” Vivian sipped the diluted red wine blood through a straw, withdrawing her gaze with a smile. “He’ll be devoured by those crazy women in no time.”
Tia glanced over, her silver teeth gnashing. Damned virgin, he had been told not to stray far from her, yet he was easily ‘captured’ by other women, losing his bearings!
A virgin was a virgin, easily swayed by pretty women!
Tsk!
Crash!
“Oops~”
The bench collapsed…
“Look at you all, crowding around, and now it’s collapsed. Couldn’t you have been more careful?”
“Because he can really hold his drink!”
“What a pity, I wanted to feed him mouth-to-mouth… Junior, change tables and come again.”
“Serves you right!” After a light hum, Kristia sat back on her chair, looking at Su Yuchen sitting on the ground, unable to contain a smile.
She noticed it too. Phyllis intended to deliberately get Su Yuchen drunk… Heh, his blood wasn’t particularly attractive to other vampires, so no worry about being sucked. But let’s see what tricks Phyllis has in mind.
“You really aren’t worried at all,” Vivian clicked her tongue. “You warned me not to have any thoughts about him before, and now so many women are sticking to him, and you’re not angry?”
“I have no such thoughts about him,” Kristia calmly replied. “Just a toy.”
“Hehe… really?” Vivian glanced at the young miss playfully; her peripheral vision had been focused on her. Just now, when the young miss saw him fall, she immediately stood up to go check…
A toy?
Heh.
“I’m off to find some junior sisters to play with. Enjoy your ‘view.'”
Three rounds of drinks later…
“Sigh, Junior, drink again, won’t get you drunk… hic~!”
“Ugh… drink more…”
Su Yuchen raised his hand to block the alcohol. Despite being flirted with and forced to drink, he remained sober.
Very clean and self-contained!
Must admit, these elder sisters were all in excellent shape, but… their drinking capacity was a bit lacking.
Rubbing his backside… he’d already fallen to the floor seven or eight times in a short span. These women and female vampires weren’t like Senior Tia, who could counter his ‘misfortunes’.
But after drinking so much high-proof white liquor almost non-stop, his head was feeling a bit heavy.
“Junior Yuchen~!”
“Hmm?”
Su Yuchen turned his head, and Kristia beckoned him over. “Junior brother, come over here.”
He swayed over slowly. “Senior… Tia, good evening.”
“What nonsense is that? It’s not like we just met.” Kristia patted the empty seat beside her, her golden eyes shining with a dangerous glint.
“You’ve been drinking with them for so long, come here and have a few drinks with me.”
